4. Used for ion exchange resin, used in soft block polyurethane foam, foam molding and rigid foam, smoldering elastic foam, etc.;
Health hazard: inhalation, eat, percutaneous absorption. Cause skin burns. After inhalation,it can cause inflammation of the throat and bronchio, edema, spasm, chemical pneumonia, pulmonary edema, etc.Cause allergy to skin
Emergency treatment:
Skin contact: remove contaminated clothing and flush skin with plenty of liquid water. Get medical attention.
Eye contact: mention eyelid, with plenty of liquid water or saline thoroughly flushed. Get medical attention.
Inhalation: leave the site quickly to a place with fresh air. If necessary, give oxygen therapy or artificial respiration. Get medical attention.
Mistaking: use water to gargle; drink milk or egg white. Get medical attention.
Toxicology: acute toxicity
Dangerous characteristic: flammable; has burning and explosion risks when encountering high heat, open flame or contacting with oxidant
Combustion products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides.
Protective measures:
Respiratory protection: wear self-priming filter type gas mask when contacting the steam. In emergency wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Eye protection: respiratory protection system has provided protection.
Body protection: wear rubber toxicity -protection clothing
Hand protection: wear rubber gloves.
Others: minimize direct contact. No on-site smoking, eating and drinking water. After work, take a shower and change clothes.
Leakage processing:
Evacuate people to the safe area and isolate them immediately, strictly control the entry to and exit from the site.
Cut off fire, emergency response personnel should directly contact the leakage content
Cut off leakage source as much as possible.avoid the liquid flowing into sewage and flood drainage trench.
Small leakage: absorb with sand, vermiculite, or other inert materials. Can also use a lot of water to flush into the waste water system.
Large amount of leakage: build an embankment or dig a pit to take the liquid in; cover with foam; Pump the liquid into a dedicated container by an explosion-proof pump, and then recover or transfer it to the waste treatment place.
Extinguishing agent: spray water, alcohol resistant foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide and sandy soil.
Transfer the container from fire place to open area as much as possible. Spray water to cool down the container on fire site until the fire is put out.
