Application area:

In the field of plasticizers, octanol generally refers to 2- ethyl alcohol, which is a million ton grade of bulk raw material, and is much more valuable in industry than normal octanol. Octanol itself is also used as a spice, blending roses, lilies and other flowers, as a soap.
   3. This product is the edible spice that our country GB2760-86 stipulates for permission to use. It is mainly used to prepare coconut, pineapple, peach, chocolate and citrus flavour as surfactant, solvent, defoamer, industrial additive, etc.

Chemical property:
  Colorless oil like liquid. Dissolved in 5 volume of 50% ethanol or 3 volume of 60% ethanol and oil, acid value <1.0. A wax fragrance dried sweet and pungent, with orange, orange and rose like breath, like parsnip cream like end of incense, fragrant is not long. With oil and fruit aroma, sweet and slightly grass fragrance.

Caution of storage：
  This product is in danger of burning and exploding in the light of fire, high temperature and strong oxidizing agent. Available in galvanized iron drums or tanks containing, room temperature storage, to prevent exposure.

Leakage emergency treatment:
   1. Cut off the fire source. It is suggested that the emergency treatment personnel wear self-contained positive pressure respirator and wear antivirus clothes.
   2. Cut off the leakage source as much as possible. To prevent the inflow of sewage, flood channel limited space.
   Small leakage: use sand, vermiculite or other inert materials. The emulsion can also be scrubbed with the non flammable dispersant, and the lotion is diluted and put into the wastewater system.
   A large leak: construct a barrierpit to contain. The pump is transferred to a tank or a special collector to be recovered or transported to the disposal site of waste disposal.

Contact control / individual protection
   1.engineering control：the production process is closed and fully ventilated.
   2.When the concentration of air in the air exceeds the standard, the self - suction filter type mask (half mask) must be worn. When emergency situations are saved or evacuated, the air respirator should be worn.
   3.Eye protection glasses with chemical safety protection.
   4.body protection： wear anti poison osmosis.
   5.hand protection： wearing rubber gloves.
